    2. Promote service to others in the parish, community and JCDA.
    3. Encourage spiritual growth by providing opportunities for personal prayer, liturgy and ecumenical understanding.
    4. Encourage programming that is open, flexible and creative to current needs and concerns.
  • JCDA has a threefold program of involvement.

  • The St. Anne Award

The St. Anne Award is the highest national recognition for adults who serve Catholic youth through national organizations. The recognition was inaugurated in 1957 by the USCCB Department of Education.
The purpose of the award is to honor the outstanding service of adults contributing to the spiritual development of Catholic members of organizations for girls, and to further Catholic adult leadership in youth ministry.
New York State CDA is reinstating the practice awarding this medal to members who work with JCDA. We are now accepting nominations. Nomination forms will be sent to the Regents of courts that have Juniors and is also located on the Resources Forms page of this website.
All Nominations must be returned to the New York State JCDA Chairman:
