Your Hearts will Rejoice
Dear God,
We give thanks for your unfailing presence and the hope you provide in times of uncertainty and loss. Send your Holy Spirit to enkindle in us your holy fire. Revive us to live as Christ’s body in the world: a people who pray, worship, learn, break bread, share life, heal neighbors, bear good news, seek justice, rest, and grow in the Spirit. Wherever and however, we gather, unite us in common prayer and send us in common mission, that we and the whole creation might be restored and renewed, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Be Still and Know that I am God
Dear Lord,
We need to be still. We are praying for stillness in this noisy world. Today is a day created for taking time to focus on You, to quit moving about and for us to be still. Stillness, as opposed to being scattered and all over the place.
We are living in precarious times. Very little has gone untouched by the global pandemic. But there are things that remain sure. Chaos and uncertainty are pressing in around us, but there is one whose presence brings peace. Let’s push against the tendency to constantly distract or immediately solve problems. Let’s stop, pray, read, and reflect. Let’s be still and know that He is God.
Amen.

Let us pray for all Clergy that they may tend to the Flock of God and to guard and protect the sheep entrusted to their care.
We pray in his Name.

A Prayer for the Joy of the Lord:
Dear God,
We confess our need for you, and for your Spirit to fill our lives afresh with great joy and strength. The hard times can often leave us feeling dry and defeated. We’ve been wearied and burdened. We’ve struggled through for so long, it’s hard to see light at the end of the tunnel anymore. Would you please give us a glimpse of your goodness again, reminding us that you have never left us and that you have promised to see us through all our difficulties. Thank you for your faithfulness Lord. Forgive us for not trusting you, and not focusing on what we know to be true from your word. Breathe your joy and peace into our lives again, cover us in the shadow of your wings, shine the light of your truth over us.
Amen.

Easter Monday - Salvation
Dear God,
We believe that you sent your only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to die on the cross, so that by believing in Him we can be forgiven; and be redeemed because his innocent blood was shed for us.
Thank you for loving us enough to send your only begotten, sinless Son to become a Man, so that He could offer himself as the perfect Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Thank you for loving us and for dying for us. Help us to live a life that honors you, in thought, word and deed.

Holy Saturday

Holy Saturday Prayer
Dear God,
On the Sabbath, Jesus rested. He was in the grave. He had finished his work.
To most people’s eyes, it looked as if it were all over. He was dead and buried. Only as a seed dies when it is planted in the earth, not to decay, but to spring to new life. Teach us to take refuge in you when we are afraid. Teach us that death is not our end. Teach us to hope always in you and in the resurrection, the making of all things new. We pray through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.

Good Friday
April is dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament & Holy Spirit
Good Friday Prayer
Dear God,
Jesus cried out to you on the cross, “Why have you forsaken me?” You seemed so far from his cry and from his distress. Those who stood at the foot of the cross wondered where you were, as they saw Jesus mocked and shamed and killed. Where were you then? We, too, ask where you are, when there is trouble and suffering and death, and we cry out to you for help. Be near to us, and save us so that we may praise you for your deliverance. We wait, on Good Friday, for the resurrection of Sunday. Sometimes our lives seem like a succession of Fridays and we cannot see what is “Good.” Teach us to call your name as Jesus did. Help us to trust in you like little children. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday) Prayer
Dear God,
You sent your Son into the world, and before his hour had come, He washed his disciples’ feet. You had given all things into his hands. He had come from you, and was going to you. What did he do? He knelt on the floor, and washed his friends’ feet. He was their teacher and their Lord, and yet he washed their feet. Help us learn from his example. Help us to do as he has done for us. The world will know we are his disciples If we love one another. Strengthen our hands and our wills for love and for service. Keep before our eyes the image of your Son, who, being God, became a Servant for our sake. All glory be to him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Monday - Holy Week Prayer
Dear God,
Six days before his death, your son sat with Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. He ate dinner with his friends.
Once again, your gospel tells us, Martha served, while Mary knelt at Jesus’ feet to anoint them with costly perfume. The disciple was about to betray him.
Often, we cannot discern what is best for us. When to be busy serving or when to be praying. We ask you to give us ears to hear you and eyes to see for the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Hosanna to the Son of God
Dear God,
We give you thanks, for you are good, and your mercy is endless. Here we stand, at the start of this holy week. This is the week in which we remember Jesus’ passion and death. We are distracted by many things. Turn our eyes to the One who comes in your name. The one who opens the gates of righteousness. The one who answers us when we call. We bless you, Lord, for shining your light upon us, and for sending your son to us, in human frailty. Open our eyes that we may see him coming,
May we praise him with a pure heart. May we walk in the way of his suffering,
May we share also in his resurrection. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.
Amen.

Be Still and Know that I am God
Dear Lord,

Help us cultivate a quiet heart, like a baby content in its mother’s arms.

Prayer to Bear One Another’s Burdens
We carry another's burdens when we humbly walk alongside of them and support them wherever they are in their walk with God. We must remember that God is the one who will help them. It isn't up to us to alleviate their suffering. Carrying another's burden does not mean to take away their pain. It simply means to hold them up and point them to Christ. However, we can help them by praying for them. Knowing that you are praying for them will certainly ease their pain.
Heavenly Father, help us to bear one another’s burden with mercy and with joy, bringing them closer to Christ.
