October is dedicated to The Holy Rosary

Monday in the 27th Week of Ordinary Time

    The Year of St. Joseph

Feast of St. Francis of Assisi

O Beloved Saint Francis, gentle and poor, your obedience to God, and your simple, deep love for all God’s creatures led you to the heights of heavenly perfection and turned many hearts to follow God’s will. Now in our day, in our ministry to the many who come here searching for peace and intercede for us we come before the Lord with our special requests. We know you will intercede for us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

    Amen.

October is dedicated to The Holy Rosary

Sunday in the 27th Week of Ordinary Time

    The Year of St. Joseph

May the Lord bless us all the days of our lives.
Prayer for an increase in love and faith

    Dear Lord

We pray that our lives would be filled and overflowing with the power of your love so we can make a difference in this world and bring honor to you. We ask for your help in reminding us that the most important things are not what we do outwardly, it’s not based on any talent or gift, but the most significant thing we can do in this life is simply to love you and to choose to love others.

    Amen.

Saturday in the 26th Week of Ordinary Time

    The Year of St. Joseph

    Feast of the Guardian Angels

    Loving God,

You are so good that you gave us a Guardian Angel to protect our bodies and our souls. Help us to know and follow our angel so that, with their guidance, we will be worthy of being in Heaven with you!

    Amen.

October is dedicated to The Holy Rosary

Friday in the 26th Week of Ordinary Time

    The Year of St. Joseph

Feast of St, Therese of the Child Jesus

    "The Little Flower"

Today is the memorial of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, more popularly known as "the Little Flower." Although just an obscure cloistered Carmelite nun, she has had universal appeal since her death in 1897.

We pray, O Little Therese of the Child Jesus, please pick for us a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to us as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God to grant the favors we now place with confidence in your hands. St. Therese, help us to always believe as you did in God’s great love for us, so that we might imitate your “Little Way” each day.

    Amen
